576 Captain Cook Dr, Seventeen Seventy
Fantastic service. We dropped in for coffee and cake in the morning and returned in the evening for dinner after the Larc tour for dinner. Sabrina was still at work! It is really refreshing to see someone so dedicated to providing amazing customer service. Food was good, the service was excellent! Thanks Sabrina your efforts are very much appreciated.
Great place, right across the street from the water and next to a beach pub. Rooms are great... reception great too
Great location, friendly staff. Food was ok oysters were small pizza was small, hamburger was processed burger meat. Drinks well priced. Overall a pleasant stop for lunch in a nice setting.
Group of 16, and more than half our meals had to be sent back. $29.50 for barramundi, plus chips which were a extra $5.50!! Fish was raw... Chicken Snitzel raw!!! All meals were cold. No change tables and had to change a newborn on the floor outside. The venue itself is nice but that's the only good thing I can comment on. Top shelf prices for low quality food. Extremely disappointed and will not return nor recommend.
It's just right next to the beach. We got 1 small pizza and a bbq ribs as chef's special at the day. The food quite nice but a bit pricey. A small pizza 7inch is about ~$15 already but not much toppings. Ribs were actually nice, enough for 2 adults cost $35. Staffs are nice and friendly, love them!!
Great location the waitress was great, the meals are made with frozen packs and served raw or cold, will definitely won't be back again, on another note, better off going to Agnes Waters for a better meals and less expensive at the pub
Food was ok, service was real slow and very inconsistent. I watched 1 customer wait 10 mins for some one to serve him at the counter, not really following the covid check-in eaither
Service was great. Had the chicken kebabs and wedges. Not going to cut it for family bugets. The takeaway fish n chips for $12 looked like a good option. Pity we didn't see the sign until leaving.
Over our 4 day stay in 1770 we stopped in 3 times. The staff were all super friendly and made us feel really welcome with our dog, both at the bar and at the restaurant. The view and location is amazing with a good vibe. The food is average but good for a pub feed. The pricing is a little steep, but it is a pretty isolated location so I understand
Nice place for a drink and watch the sunset but avoid the food...overcooked to almost inedible and overpriced. Bar and waitstaff were great.
