After 2 months hanging out regularly at welcome to thornbury, trying to find a food truck that didnt feel like a one trick wonder to cater our wedding, yo india was a stand out favourite. Most trucks only got one chance to prove themselves and whilst most were fine we tested different dishes from yo india on three seperate nights and they never failed to impress. Twelve months later Conan and his familly catered our wedding (of 72 guests) and they were fantastic. We got complements about the food from many of our guests (so it wasn't just us) and they went above and beyond on the day including helping out our overworked waiters. If you want a great meal from a foodtruck when you see them they would be our first choice. If you want a caterer who can do it all from apetisers to mains not have to worry about a thing they can do that too.

Amazing food, we really enjoyed. I would recommend them to hire someone to do the take aways - try with deliveroo, for example - or hire another waiter/waitress.

2.5 stars ⭐️ They just opened a few days ago so I think they are still sorting out some teething issues, but seriously there doesn’t seemed to be any staff on the floor. There are about five tables and five chefs in the kitchen, unsure what’s happening. I asked for the bill about 3 times before someone attend to me. No one had idea of what I ordered and so it’s a bit chaotic. The toilet was blocked... already. So yeah, initial impression isn’t great but I do cut them some slack, third day of business and all. Ordered Laksa and also a ipoh kwey teow soup. I really like their soup base, but their noodles and toppings are not that great. For the Laksa, the Hokkein noodles are overcooked. The chicken in both bowls are overcooked. The fish slices are fish balls. The only thing that’s absorbs the broth is the tofu puffs. The Ipoh kwey teow soup noodles are slightly undercooked and other than the soup, nothing has absorb the flavour of the soup. Since I have gone out of my way to try this place I don’t think I will come here again.

Butter chicken was amazing. Quick friendly service with a huge reasonably priced menu :)

The food and service was great. The staff were friendly and helpful, even made sure we were warm enough by offering a small heater. Had the butter cream chicken and lamb korma, both delicious with tender meat. Best curry I've had in Victoria so far, will definitely be going back there.

Pagla is such an unique culinary experience. We were amazed with the variety of food dishes and loved them all. It brings the best of Indian food with a modern twist on your plate. I loved Butter chicken as it was nothing like a standard curry but full of flavor and surprises in every bite. I also loved stuffed sweet pepper that we had in entree. If you want to try really good food with an amazing experience then go and try it out..

No other Indian place in the CBD provides mango chutney.
Food is amazingly good for cheap take out! We've moved from the area, but keep coming back for it.
