We were a large group of 12 for lunch and we each had an amazing meal. The Valrohna Chocolate Tarte was to die for. The 'Roma special' was supurb and the legendary veal schnitzel was a hit. The service was attentive but subtle and the wine list spoilt us for choice. It was my 3rd visit and I highly recommend it, as it never disappoints.

I'm looking for De Mad Hatter to improve their consistency of their coffee. There are some days where i really enjoy it - smooth coffee blend, and nice warm milk. But then there are days when it's too bitter, or the milk is burnt. With more consistency, i could rate this a 5 star based on the coffee and ambience.

Recently spent two wonderful weeks in Melbourne and dined at Lane Restaurant at Novotel on Collins every night. Food was wonderful and the staff were great. A big THANK YOU for making our stay extra special AND for the Birthday treat.
