We had a recent family reunion at Jackies on Vincent and went there two nights in a row we loved it so much! Lovely service and the food was beautifully presented and lovingly cooked by the chef. Can recommend the dumplings, spring rolls, chicken and salmon dishes were beautiful.

Gorgeous grand old hotel that has been restored. One of the most beautiful balconies I have ever seen. The perfect place to enjoy the sunset whilst sipping on an Aperol Spritz and maybe a lovely plate of salt & pepper calamari.

Terrible coffee (just tasted like warm milk). Burnt bacon. Poached eggs overdone. Crappy "from the freezer bulk buy special at Coles" hash browns (same quality but twice the price of Macca's). Grotty glasses for self-serve (what?) water. Overpriced. Floor staff were friendly, though (although they didn't wait until we'd all finished before clearing the table).

My mother, sister and I ordered the big breakfast platter. We had to wait a while but when we got it i could see it was worth the wait! it was the most amazing breakfast i have ever eaten. when the waiter delivered it to our table everyone in the room was staring at the dish. it was so large and it looked amazing. my mum and sister are also gluten intolerant so they gave us gluten free bread instead. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone and I will be going back to the cafe the next time I am in Daylesford

Delicious American diner in Daylesford. The jalapeño poppers, corn, milk butter batter fried chicken and ribs are highly recommended dishes. Everyone enjoyed it tonight. Will definitely come back again!

We stopped in for take away. I waited out with our dog so he could drink the water provided. My wife went in to order. A very friendly lady gave us great service. The beef and burgundy pie and the chicken and leak pie we delicious. So was the baked ricotta cake! On the pricey side, but good quality food. Thanks.
Mid winter in a town that is a tourist attraction, at lunch time. Peered into several cafe's and at last found some space in the Gourmet Larder in Dayelsford. Call it fortune, but so glad this was the only space. I can't imagine an ants nest being any busier, and the staff slid around each other and customers with the same agility, providing excellent coffee, food and service. Thank you, I will be back.
