Great restaurant on the water with really great food! My Sister and I had the market fish and lamb which were both absolute delicious. The wait staff are also really friendly and attentive. Overall definitely worth adding it to the list of must dos in st Helen.

Popular among locals/visitors so was crowded when I visited for lunch. Was impressed by their curried scallop pot pie, which was a bargain at $12 as it had at least a dozen scallops. Only issue was that the rice underneath was slightly hard but that's personal preference. The cottage pie lacked flavour (could have done with some veges mixed into the mince) and the seafood chowder wasn't quite hot enough though. As the place was busy, they appeared to heat their sandwiches/paninis in the microwave first before crisping up the bread on a sandwich press/grill...

Staying at the brand new campground behind the bar and kitchen. Called in for ice coffee and a little tasty sweet something to go with it. Very relaxing. Could have sat all day looking at the view of the bay. Staff lovely and friendly.

Absolutely amazing visit! The staff were very friendly, and the collection of beautiful animals is astounding. It is a small and growing business, with an excellent owner who seriously loves the animals. Today I held a snake named Cuddles, whose name did not mislead. She was a well tempered and beautiful snake. The owner was very good with children as there were small children that were shown how to handle the snake and seemed to have a wonderful time. The prices are very reasonable, with the staff always trying to provide the best price for the customers. The gift shop has a wide selection of appropriately priced goods. To anyone that is thinking about going to tasmania, and especially the east coast, this is a must to vist. If i ever come to tasmania again this will definitely be high priority.

I ordered a Birthday Cake and thought the prices very reasonable so only expected a simple iced sponge, NOT so....the cake was beautiful, decorated with butter cream icing and cream in the colours I requested, and the sponge was so light and delicious as were the toppings. Thank you to St Helens Bakery for a really special cake, supplied to my requirements but delivered as so much more. Could not have purchased anything better. Beautifully boxed, fresh and an utter delight. Made my day!!!
