John, Brad, Anita & Marc all provide excellent customer service. The meals are well priced & plentiful. Had the Atlantic Salmon with gnocchi for lunch recently - yum! And if you are a steak lover, they have you covered. Fibbers also host business meetings and I've always found them attentive & accommodating to all requests.

The Baker's Duck sells the most amazing pastry in Toowoomba. You can buy their pastry and bread at various places in town during the week but on Saturday morning you can buy them direct from the bakery. They also sell really good quality bread making flour at very good prices

We visited on the third day since opening. Great burgers, crunchy fries, and cold beers. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and service was fast. Highly recommended place for a burger, much better than the "other two" options nearby here.

My husband and I returned to the Newtown Hotel today for our steak lunch we often enjoy and when asked by one of the staff how our meal was, I had to be honest and mentioned that my steak didn't taste quite right. The waitress immediately brought the manager over to our table and asked if there was anything she could help us with. I said the steak tasted slightly off and she offered without hesitation, to replace my meal, with another steak or anything else from the menu. I was promptly given another freshly cooked meal and was asked several times if everything else was ok. I would like to say thank you to Jenny (the Manager) and the wait staff for your professional service and willingness to take care of your patrons. We will continue to come by for our meals and recommend your establishment to all of our friends. Thank you again.
Had the twice cooked pork belly for lunch today, it was dry, maybe should have only cooked it once. for a cafe that doesnt do table service, they charge like its silver service.
