Thought we would try the new Pilu outpost. Food was excellent! We shared starters - bruschetta, meatballs, burrata and squid. Then a selection of pasta, pizza and the veal for mains. All in all great quality food, and enough to get us to join the diggers to return again! Quick tip: if you are not a member of Harbord Diggers, you can join for $6 on the way in. This is one of my favorite spots in Cairns - fresh brilliant pastries, breads and other goodies are cooked daily. Coffee is fantastic and a great place to go for a breakfast or lunch. Some pastries are hard to get so get there as early as possible.
