We wandered here on our lunch break to try something new and you-betcha we were impressed! Service was fast and friendly, food was delicious, tasting fresh and healthy. I had the Ban Cuon with a little chilli on the side and my compadre had the Beef Vermicelli Noodle Salad. I take back all the mean things I said about tumeric lattes, they are the bomb and they might secretly have crack in them. Give me more now. Definitley be back again soon!

Arlette's Kitchen is my new "local" - walking distance from home - and it delivers in Spades all the hallmarks of a genuine little French "bistrot", a warm welcome upon arrival; simple, delicious food prepared with care using the freshest in season ingredients and a great place to meet friends on a Saturday night or meeting up with girlfriends for the two-course (including a glass of wine) set price lunch special on Fridays... perfect!

We were recommended this place by a friend. we arrived after 9pm on a Friday evening and the place was busy, but we were quickly shown to a table. we ordered the beef pawpaw salad and the sizziling garlic pepper chicken, with Vietnamese cold rolls to start. Cold rolls were great, not too chewy. The garlic pepper chicken was superb, the flavours were amazing, an almost creamy sauce but not too rich, and fresh pepper flavours. the beef pawpaw salad was good, but I would have liked some bigger chunks of pawpaw and maybe a tiny bit of chilli to set it off. the only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars was the atmosphere on a Friday evening is more like a beer garden than a restaurant. we had intoxicated patrons leaning over our table to speak to one another and it was pretty hard to hold a conversation without yelling. depends on the atmosphere you're looking for though! you can't fault the service of the staff, they were attentive and the meals were served quickly despite them obviously being busy. will try and go there for lunch as it sounds good value (and maybe less raucous than a Friday night!).

Pretty good. We had a big table with a lazy susan, BYO wine and alligator was on the menu. I'd go back but consider that they do have karaoke on weekends.

Great Vietnamese! Love the beautiful rice raper rolls and great customer service. Always had lovely service when I come here and you can tell its family run.
BRING THE BUFFET BACK!!!!! Delicious food but I really liked coming for the buffet to have a little sample of everything for good value. Really disappointed that they took it away. Also, sometimes the staff are a bit weird and come across as rude. I was told that they didn't have ice tea or lemonade when I could clearly see it in the fridge? kinda made me uncomfortable. Food is delicious though, would recommend :)
