Tasty sushi at good value. Recommend the grilled salmon hand roll.

Kid Kyoto is the coolest new kid on the block! Edgy fit out and amazzzzing food! It is Japanese food better than I could have ever imagined, definitely recommend the Sake Chicken, Wagyu beef and all of the desserts (couldn't just have one!).
175 Glebe Point Rd 2037, Sydney
I'm going to go out on limb here and give it 4 stars. If it were just up to the food, I'd probably stay at 3, but given the $29 all you can eat deal, and the main server Kevin's awesome attitude and food pusher attitude kick it up that extra notch. It just opened up a couple of weeks ago, so it's still new in the Glebe dining scene, but based off the crowds we've seen walking by other times, and when we were in, it's doing really well. The fish wasn't the top quality, but given the portion sizes and the vast options, it's goo enough. We loved the seafood hot pot, with crab, octopus, prawns, salmon head, and all kinds of veggies! And the Ishiyaki Bibimbab was smoking hot and cool to look at as well. We'll put this in the rotation for future feed-bag nights. Not the fanciest, but it'll fill you up and won't break the sushi bank!

Great place for a quick bowl of ramen. The soups are very tasty and the service is ultra quick. Recommend for cheap eats.
94A Pitt Street, Redfern Shop 5 2016, Sydney
High quality food & you can order matching imported teas. We got the wagyu & the chicken for mains & the matcha tiramisu for dessert. Highly recommended as the place only opened two weeks ago & it is already excellent. The staff are super polite. Definitely one to come back to. Make sure you book ahead; lots of people without bookings were being turned away.

Interesting concept with food served on a hot plate. Ideal for no fuss meals in quick time.

85 Stanley St 2010, Sydney
Super cheap. Super Fresh. A terrific little hole in the wall neighbourhood favourite that we will definitely be visiting again soon. It's a tiny little spot and we'd heard that there usually is a line, but we came early on a Sunday evening and there were about 5 empty tables to choose from. There isn'y anything glamorous about it...probably not a first date kinda spot, but it's the perfect place for a quick and delicious sushi dinner for great value. We had Fried Dumplings ($5), the Medium Sushi & Sashimi Platter ($22), the Salmon Teriyaki which also came with Rice, Miso Soup and a Side Salad ($13). Everything was super fresh. The staff was friendly and efficient. Nothing not to like about that...
145 Devonshire St Cnr Clisdell St 2010, Sydney
Perfect setting to wind down on a Friday night. Enjoyed a few live jazz sets over the chef's sushi platter (gobbled down the salmon and eel) and soft shell crab (ask for the sauce on the side). Cheese slash fondue lovers: try the Camembert tempura!
8 Quay St Shop TG8 2000, Sydney
Rich, fatty soup! This soup is almost as thick as Gumshara's, but that makes it more palatable to the general public. The tonkotsu is cheap and delicious, and wonderfully augmented by slices of roast pork. It's cheap and fast, but make sure you leave some time for lines at lunch time!
While not the tastiest ramen around, certainly excellent value for money. Can be a bit noisy and during peak they want to turn the table over quickly so not the best for lingering. Service is fast once you are seated. Try the iced green tea cappuccino.
