I checked out this place after it was listed as one of the Northern Beaches best hidden cafes. They were slightly wrong about the 'hidden' bit as it was PACKED with people, but definitely right about 'best'. The menu is full of superfoods/organic/healthy/amazing ingredients and the coffee was delicious. I'm happy to have this as my local!

Food is amazing here! The Gamberi pasta was phenomenal as well as the mussels and my partner really enjoyed the mushroom bruschetta. We will definitely be back!!

Coffee: Campos Passion: 6/10 Crema: 7/10 I feel bad rating this cafe as low as this but it is the beans more so than the people or atmosphere. I was impressed that this cafe had single origin beans available (even if they are Campos) and so gave them a bonus mark in passion. As for the Guatemalan COE.. well... it was a bit stale and lifeless, though still better than the average Campos coffee. At the very least the barista did what he could with it. So while I would not travel to try this cafe, its location is very convenient, especially for the weekend crowds coming to the beach or park. If you are in the neighbourhood, this is going to be your best chance at getting drinkable coffee. N.B. There is #powerwhoring available at the table in the corner near the fridge. There is no public WiFi available

A great local Thai joint on the Plateau. They even included free spring rolls on our first order, which we made online. The delivery guy was friendly and the food was delicious - try the penang curry.

Come to The Collaroy for the amazing views looking up Collaroy and Narrabeen beaches, and the relaxed vibe. It's recently been refurbished with very cool decor inside, and looks fantastic. I've been there twice and the food was average - the burger was dry the first time and raw the second. Although the staff were friendly when you got their attention, it has been a bit hit and miss. I'd come here for a beer with friends on a summer's day, it's perfect for that.
