Al Taher sweets have delicious baklava, kunafa, busbosa and fresh Zaatar. Abu Taher customer service and attention to details is top notch. Best arabic sweets haven in Canberra.

Under Bakery is a Swedish style bakery with a small but expanding selection of pastries, sourdough bread and a coffee bar. They do special pastries at certain times of the year, Semlas was the last one. However, its not available now :) I can highly recommend their newest pastry, raspberry. Their bread is also very good, and if you just want it for toasting, look to see if they have any of yesterdays loaves at a reduced price.

I actually really like Woolworths in Mawson, it's large and clean and modern. But, like most Woolworths, it's your standard range of usual food. If you want something a little bit unique, or unusual, then this isn't the place for you.
