Have been to the Cherry Shed three times, we live in Queensland, and The cherries are remarkable! Best in Oz!
Yes the chocolate might be expensive, and I see some have even argued that it's not worth it, but some of the chocolate creations have been put together over a painstakingly long period of time, and even the simple truffles have been crafted with love. The atmosphere is nice and homely, the gardens are fantastic all-year-round (though they can be a bit muddy in winter, but the same is true of almost everywhere in Tasmania), and the little shop has an excellent range of goodies to treat oneself to. Even after many years of the novelty, I still enjoy drinking hot chocolate out of a near-authentic-style Aztec mug, though the beverage itself is usually very rich, so unless you have a hyper-active sweet tooth (coming from someone who's sweet tooth is pretty darn active to begin with), I wouldn't recommend digging in to a truffle platter or heavy slice of cake at the same time. This is as close as Tasmania gets to Vianne's Chocolaterie from the film 'Chocolat' (they even have chilli hot chocolate!), and it's well worth anything from a quick truffle sample in the shop or indulging in their fantastic hot chocolate, to a stroll through the gardens with a cone of delicious Valhalla ice cream or a full meal for breakfast or lunch...
I visited Madame M's for Lunch, The meal was amazing, I had the Pumpkin Rissoto with crumbled fetta, accompanied by a fantastic Coffee. The decor and the atmosphere are warm and inviting and the artwork around the room a beautiful view.
High Quality pre cooked meals and Fast Foods as well as a good variety of Grocery essentials.

Authentic Thai food. Personally think that this is better than Thai restaurant in Launceston. Reasonable price and big in portion. Wait time might be slightly longer than usual but okay after all. Happy return customer :)
