Had an incredible meal - shared four small plates (broken samosa; masala peppers; Indian butter chicken; Persian lamb) and every dish was a winner. Tues night and the restaurant was more than half full.

I am a huge pizza critic and Viva pizza’s thin crust Seafood, Vegetarian and BBQ Chicken are my favourite, I highly recommend getting your takeaway pizza from Viva. The service is always friendly and willing to make adjustments to your order.

I have never written a review for a place that I have eaten at but due to the times that we are in i thought it would be a good time to do so. When I saw The 3 Viets announcing they are opening on the top of my street I couldn't have been happier. What else would you want then a Vietnamese restaurant opening from you in walking distance serving Hot Pho and Bahn Mi??? I can only imagine that business is slow due to the virus and I thought I would write this review for others who may be hesitant in ordering take away at the moment an insight into whats to offer at "The 3 Viets". The weather was cold and thought what better than having a warm Pho. I ordered the Pho with Rare Beef, Beef Ball, Brisket and Tendon coming to the total of $16.50 which is a great and affordable price for the quantity you receive. Now I have tried Pho at several places and the best being from "Hong Tam" which stands out above the rest. The Pho from "The 3 Viets" is not as good as "Hong Tam" however, from all the numerous other places which I have tried "The 3 Viets" Pho tops them all. The broth is the most important part of a Pho and "The 3 Viets" was full of rich aromatics and a deep brown colour. Normally when I have Pho I need to put loads of hoisin to bring out the flavours however, for the "The 3 Viets" only a little amount was needed as the broth already had loads of amazing flavours. The flavours of the meat were fantastic especially the meat balls. These can normally be a bit tuff and rubbery but this was not the case at "The 3 Viets". Rare beef was great and the tendons gave it some great texture. Obviously, being a new place some advice is needed so I do hope that "The 3 Viets" read this part. I have two parts of the pho which could be improved to make it the dish even better. First being cooking the noodles a bit less due to them cooking in the broth I found near the end the noodles being a bit to cooked for my liking. So maybe experimenting a bit on cooking times until you find the perfect time for the noodle type. Secondly, the brisket quality was not bad at all however maybe trying a different brisket source so it can be a bit more tender and flavoursome. Overall, you will not find a better Pho in the Plympton area "The 3 Viets" sever a Pho which I will be definitely coming back for over and over again. I know the times are hard but to the owners of the "The 3 Viets" it's important to hold out until this virus is over. This is because from the Pho I can tell you are passionate about Vietnamese food. Look at "Sakura Sushi" just around the corner it is always full of customers and there products are nowhere near to quality of the Pho I just had today so good times will come I assure you that if the quality of food you produce is just like the Pho I had today. "The 3 Viets" A MUST TRY!!!
