Good meals, well presented, wait staff nice but unprofessional. A little expensive relative to what can be had elsewhere for the same price.
The service was great, however the food was a bit of a let down when compared to other local burger restaurants. Hopefully this is just teething problems.
Only place in Cairns or Port Douglas to buy the freshest seafood whilst enjoying the Marina views. Don't pay ridiculous prices in restaurants, buy seafood where the locals buy it.
I had a fantastic experience dining at The Raw Prawn on the esplanade in Cairns. We went for my father's birthday, the food was amazing and cooked to perfection. The place is a little pricey but you are paying for quality so who cares? The wait staff were also very well mannered and adhered to all of our needs which included bringing out my father's desert with happy birthday written in chocolate on the plate and a sparkler! Amazing exeprience for dining in Cairns as you don't often come across it. Will be going again very soon.
Don't always win but usually lots of fun. Great entertainment. Tonight it was the Koi Boys who are always entertaining. We will be back.
really good food. place doesn't look like it but was happily suprised. staf is very friendly. toilets are a little old.
Excellent position to eat, and food to match. We stayed in Cairns for four night and ate here twice. The hot seafood platter was delicious - thanks to the chef!! - and the service on both nights was excellent - thanks Darcie and Chelsea! Overall a great place to have dinner - thanks agin to all concerned. PS - All the best to Darcie and her partner for the forthcoming wedding!!
A good concept overall but the place always seems sad and empty. However the restaurants on the deck that runs all the way around are quite good.
