Zambeekas Restaurant

Not a bad little place. Pretty laid back and probably not visually exciting and to be honest, the wall was dirty. But the food was pretty well priced and good for how much you pay. A good place to get a cooked meal that is almost like fast food, but with actual depth of flavour. This place is a mix of Nandos and South American influences.

Lives up to its reputation as one of Brisbane's best charcoal chicken restaurants. If you like Nando's but not their prices, this is quite possibly the next best thing. Food is prepared reasonably quickly and the place is neat and clean. The various levels of spice will suit all taste buds.

Great tasting chicken, nice and spicy. That's about it with the good reviews. They filled the bowl with tiny chips, quality wasn't good. Some staff there needs a good lesson on customer service. This place was open Christmas day so we decided to go. Requested the lady at the cash register to switch on the lights near the corner as it was dark and the only table available at the time but the staff refused to switch on the lights 🙄. Seriously will rethink twice before visiting here again.

After waiting a long period of time for my order, i got up to ask for it from the lady that was behind the register. My food was just sitting there near her ready for a while, but she didnt bother calling my name out to inform me even though i was sitting inside not far from her. Annoyed.

Barely anyone here and had to wait 40 minutes for a wrap. Bang for buck just not there. Maybe that’s why there isn’t many people here. Food tastes microwaved too

The chickens are not cooked well, the sauces are too hot and full of food coloring, the waiting time is very long had to wait 30 mins for my order. The only reason I visited this place was the Nandos at Underwood has been closed. I would not highly recommend this place plus if you call time NO one bothers to answer the phone and get your order....

Ordered through uber eats . After waiting for 1 and a half hours contacted uber eats and cancelled my order. Called zambeekas so many times but they didn't pick up. Pathetic service as a business.

Best chicken and prices. Better then Nandos for sure

After confirming order and waiting 20 minutes they all of a sudden cancelled order with no notification or apology, upon calling they claimed they couldn't take any more orders as they were closing in a half hour - 2 burgers in a half hour can't be that difficult - Don't waste your time

First time I tried their chicken today. And broooooo yuuuuuuummmmmy as if ya like spice go for it. Service is average not for us personally but others I observed wernt getting served as they were cooking for us. But ring the bell they provide and they will. I'm guessing they are letting you look at the menu. Great job guys I have found my new favorite chicken. Suggestion buy it whole so quality controll is there. Smaller portions I seen get burnt.
