York Street Cafe

I had the avo smash, the avocado wasn’t quite ripe, the feta had less then a teaspoon, food was over peppered and my poached eggs I asked to be soft where rock hard. I would normally ask for new eggs when they are this hard but I got my food just as they got busy. Staff and coffee are great. The menu has so great other dishes that I would like to try

DECENT CAFE FOR A QUICK BITE AND A CAFFEINE REFUEL Two of us dropped in for an early lunch. On a blustery cold day in Albany we were still quite comfortable sitting outdoors. Service is fairly prompt and there is a reasonable selection of menu items. Good location to simply sit and watch Albany life go by. People with mobility issues will be fine as there are no steps - although the street itself is a bit steep if you are walking.

That breakfast bruchetta was amazing. And the coffee was good as well.

Have to say this was the best Big Breakie I have ever had!!! Normally never go for poached eggs but they were absolutely delicious!! Honestly 5 stars doesnt do this dish service!! Definitely will recommend everyone to come here when they come for the holiday!!

Good food, friendly staff. Have been twice for breakfast and would go again. 👍

Did a pretty good chai latte however perhaps a little too sweet! Still good though. Popped in for a hot drink and somewhere I could do some work on my laptop, was provided with free wifi so good service. Staff were reasonably friendly and quick to make the chai.

Food and coffee really great and staff friendly and helpful. Cafe looks very ordinary from outside but once you enter its clean,neat and friendly.

Would have given them 5 stars as the food was tasty. But they only toasted one side of my toast
