Best hot chocolate and some interesting choice in flavours. Beautiful, pretty, delicious chocolates.

If you are after amazing chocolate this is the place to go! So many wonderful flavors with great names you won’t actually be able to decide what you want... It was also a really good thick fruit toast! I didn’t have the iced chocolates but they looked amazing and will definitely be ordering that next time!

It's good small shop in busy market place. Ample road side parking. Variety of delicious chocolates and good coffee available. Good seating arrangement, outside seats are good, for a sunny day, with a cuppa.

Really love the five star quality and range of the chocolates here, as well as the exclusive gourmet flavours. They are very expensive, hence the four stars instead of five. Only for an indulgence/treat definitely not routine.

My favourite place in Melbourne to get a good hot chocolate, my go to is the Spanish with cinnamon and vanilla. Highly recommend!

Service is excellent...great choice of hot chocolate available, not to mention fruit bread, very tasty small lamingtons...I really like the feel of the place..generally parking available at the back of the cafe

This little cafe/ chocolate shop is the best- kept me going through lockdown. The staff are lovely n friendly. The coffee is superb - best in Maling Rd. The chocolates are handmade and to die for, especially the OMG bar and the dark choc dipped freeze dried raspberries. Yum.

Great variety of hot chocolates available from classic hot chocolates, to Spanish hot chocolate, a vegan chai hot chocolate, Orange, chilli and others. Some are creamier and richer and some a bit more gentle so you will find something you like and the staff are happy to help and very professional. Xocolatl stands out because everything feels handcrafted. It’s like the drinks were carefully considered, designed, planned out and preoared with great care and they go straight to your soul like a nice home-cooked meal does when you drink them. Highly recommended.
