Lovely.

Even under Covid conditions the staff were great. The Turkish rolls, a Reuben sandwich and a lamb sandwich were amazing. Go there.

Wilkies Cafe stands out from the rest because of the inviting atmosphere. The interior had a rustic / industrials feel to it and I LOVED the giant real ferns. Well done to whoever takes care of those! About the food. Super yummy and worth the price. I had a French Toast banana bread which was surprisingly not sickeningly sweet so I devoured that. My partner had eggs Benedict which looks great but I didn’t get a taste. He also smashed that! The coffee is ok. I’d rate the food over the coffee considering the price point. Overall a nice place to visit while in Young for food, cake and a hot drink.

I had eggs Benedict with salmon for breakfast. Very nice and couldn’t fault it. The cafe itself is very modern and clean. The staff were very friendly. My first time to Wilkies Cafe and it is now my choice for breakfast when visiting Young. Highly recommended.

Absolutely sensational - had the blackberry and white chocolate muffin, the date and ginger friand and arctic tea. What a fabulous way to start the day! Plus, service with a smile - thank you!

The best fritters I have ever had and the coffee is amazing. Never understood why people have coffee without sugar until I had coffee here.
