Really yummy feed of fish & chips (both adults & kids). Good value across the board, great venue and friendly staff. Worth a stop for a feed!
We booked a table for dinner (definitely recommend booking ahead!). Service was very friendly and prompt even though they were busy. I ordered the fish, and the Mrs ordered the ramen. Food was great! Would definitely go back again for dinner.
A nice place to stop off for a delicious meal with the family. Kid friendly. With beautiful views of the vegetation around daintree, this is a stop worth making for a family get together while on vacation! We enjoyed the food and excellent service from staff.
Absolutely beautiful atmosphere. Great service and food. Please go check it out! The minute we walked in the service was amazing. Thank you very happy customers. They gave us a bonus it’s like across the way from caramel Cake. Thank you! 😊
Wow! For a place of the grid & self sufficient the food is amazing, what a hidden gem. The steak sandwich was one of the nicest ever & I don’t know what they do with their fries but they have to be the best I’ve had anywhere, especially with their tasty BBQ sauce. Also had an Asian bowl, full of flavour, nice & zesty, was transported back to Asia, so authentic. Went down great with a crisp draught beer. Well done to the couple who run this place!
Staff is amazing and very attentive!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ They were kind enough to stay open late 3 nights in a row for us. Opened the kitchen back up and happy to feed us. Drinks and food and super tasty 😋 atmosphere was super cool. A definitely must, pizza, fish, and lasagna all fantastic.
Hidden gem. Unexpectedly amazing food. Had the burger which was awesome and the barra and chips. So delicious that we’ll be back next time. The bar is pretty cool too and the outdoor dining area is the perfect setting for lunch.
The best lunch we had on Daintree. The vegetarian curry was good though not as hot and spicy as they warned. My wife and daughter both had Buddha bowls and the Mediterranean was the favorite over the Indian.
Wasn’t great but it was fine? I had the seafood fettuccine but they had to switch to spagetti which I was fine with and understandable given the remoteness but the seafood in my meal tasted frozen (fish fillet was basically 2-3 cubes, squid tasted like it came from a frozen bag, prawns had not much flavor) was rather disappointed with my meal. It would have been perfectly fine if it was labeled as a spaghetti bolognese as the sauce was really nice but the seafood was just not it.
Very nice place in calm and beautiful location. The staff is very friendly, gave me good reccomodations. I tried the chocolate mousse and it was exceptional. Will surely come back.
