61 Webster St 3350, Ballarat
Convivial place excellent for coffees and lunches.
Coffee is great. Food is great
Great coffee and food menu
Thankyou for having an attentive waitress come outside, when you're busy and ask me if I'd like a coffee. Hard to order inside when you have a dog on leash and pushing a stroller. Coffee was delicious. Keep up the good work and excellent service.
An outstanding brunch spot in the heart of Ballarat. We had the Rueben bagel and breakfast plate, both were delicious. We came during the morning rush (10am), but staff still managed to seat us quickly and wait on us well. Would recommend, check it out.
Though the coffee was good, it came later than it should have. I have the distinct impression that the cafe doesn't especially care about the happiness of it's customers. Not advised for Coeliacs or gluten intolerant folks. Go elsewhere.
Don't waste your time. Barely 20 people in the cafe and there was a 20 min wait for a coffee. If your from Melbourne just drive the hour back home and get a coffee from your local. You'll probably get it quicker.
Food was excellent and the service was great. The chai is a also a must try.
Went here early on a Sunday morning and it was beautiful. Lovey little cafe nestled in a open suburban residential street. Beautiful falling leaves and Great coffee. The staff were awesome, so happy and chirpy. Prices on their menu were very reasonable and the place wasn’t too busy. I feel like it was a really warm cosy place with good volume and plenty of seating. Give it a go.
Being from out of town, a dear friend of ours who is a local recommended this place to grab a good coffee before heading home on Easter Sunday, 4/4/21. We love a good coffee and were super keen! Perhaps two minutes after we arrived (and were standing right in front of him at the counter) a man asked how we were and then strangely proceeded to ignore us while he continued to make coffees. He was busy, but we felt unwelcome, in the way and it was awkward when we had to wait 3-4 minutes before anyone asked us if they could help. Meanwhile, locals were grabbing their orders and were greeted with warmth as they collected their order - a very different vibe. I order coffee on a daily basis and I've never had an experience like this before. When we were finally served, before we were even able to place an order we were warned that there was at least a TWENTY minute wait for any coffee! We turned around and walked out, as did the couple after us. Luckily, we got great coffee at The Lane in Ballarat city centre. Very disappointed with the unwelcome, "we don't care if you stay or leave because we're really busy/full" vibe! 👎
