We called and placed a takeaway order as soon as the restaurant opened at 5:00pm and we were told the food would be ready in 20-30 minutes. When we arrived, the restaurant wasn’t too busy (perhaps still early) but our food did not come out until 6:15pm… They apologised for the wait but we didn’t receive an explanation etc. We’re pretty sure they forgot our order.

We shared a great meal here for Lunar New Year. The food was fresh and delicious. And we were looked after very well. We also enjoyed the noisy fireworks which preceded a fabulous lion dance! This is a great restaurant for a special celebration or just a good night out.

Vietnam Restaurant is as fantastic as what everyone has told me about it, from the warm hospitality by staff, nostalgic vibe from the decoration to the most delicious Vietnamese food. I was recommended to order the Quail, clay pot combination rice and the lamb dumplings, and all I can say is it was one of the most delicious food I have ever tasted, full of heat and flavour. We also ordered Vietnamese chicken wings which were so good, that batter just made that chicken so crispy. I also recommend you order the sizzling beef. One thing we didn't order was making your own cold rolls but we got so full from the dishes we ordered.

Food great as always but it took over 45 minutes to get our food served. Looked like one kitchen helping to serve two restaurants, with staff going back and forth between them - really not ideal as it appears busier than what they can handle.

Great food and atmosphere. Always an enjoyable experience for the whole family. Great family business operating for over 30 years. Their signature dishes are authentic and amazing. 9/10 without any doubt.

Just finish my dinner, and it was incredible. I and my partner enjoyed delicious foods. It was really busy and meal a little bit slow. It will be better if kitchen team can improve their speed. However pork crackling always yummy. Joanna was so friendly. The trainee girl (Tianne) and the boy with glasses was really nice. Good job everyone.

The cold rolls are my favourite, especially the satay sauce, best in town.

Our family has been going to the Vietnam for the last 25 years and we keep coming back because the service and quality of food is consistent. I had the pleasure of bringing some interstate friends for dinner and it was a great option out of the city. A personal favourite is the quail - marinated and cooked to perfection

Vietnam Restaurant is a definite must-try for Vietnamese cuisine in Adelaide. Always a pleasure to come here for a birthday dinner. It's always busy in the evenings, but the service has always been very timely, welcoming and they treat diners like family, checking in to make sure they are enjoying the food. Please do not leave the restaurant without having at least tried the: warm seafood salad, the quail, and the make-your-own cold rolls (fun and delicious experience!).
