We were here on a mid-week night. Wasn't very busy and the atmosphere could have been better - background music would have helped! That said, the food and service we're excellent - really 1st class. We'll be back and highly recommended.

Came here on a Friday night based on friend’s recommendation. Friendly service and lovely food and decor. Had the 3 course menu and it’s really well priced. Love the dory and the creme brulee. Will come back again for sure!

Owner/chef Philippe prepares everything in house - pasta, ice cream... Market fresh seafood. Home grown herbs. Exquisite food. Excellent service. A favourite with the locals so I'd recommend booking for busy nights.

Excellent mains let down by entree. Very noisy, not the fastest service. For a packed Saturday night they only had one chef though, which I feel excuses that, but it does seem a little odd to have just one. Pretty sure the peas were frozen. Overall good.

This beautiful space on Lyons Road Drummoyne boasts some of the best food in Canada Bay. It's an institution & a local treasure. The prices are very reasonable for delicious French food & it's BYO. We have been coming to Vatel for 14 years and it has never let us down. Highly commended!

Excellent entrées and main courses. The crepe Suzette however was an complete disappointment. No sauce at all. Not a drop of orange juice or Grand Marnier, just the pancake with a sprinkle of sugar and two pieces of crystallised orange peel as decoration. That's not a crepe Suzette.

One of our favourites. Consistently good. Yummy bread.
