Vancouver Street Cafe

The food was good, the chai latte was nice, however the front staff were “tried to be friendly” seems not greeting genuinely. And they ignored when you left even weren’t busy at all

Coffee was divine..... we had the breakfast wrap & the breakfast burger which were both HUGE and very very tasty, we went back another day for take away coffee and had a cherry bakewell slice which was amazing. Fantastic gem of a place.

Lovely spot away from main street. Great menu and they make a good coffee. Facilities are clean in the restaurant and bathrooms. I really loved the feel of this place, less bulk service and more real people here... Disabled access might be tricky as it's on a hill and the space between tables might be tight but I'm sure if you rang them they would help with clear info and maybe a set of hands with the door 🤗

Recommended by a friend when visiting Albany. Friendly service. Beautiful looking old building. Breakfast was so good. I’d plan a trip back to Albany just for breakfast. Big thumbs up from me with the range of vegetarian options on offer. Actual wilted spinach which so many cafes don’t bother with now. Huge portions. Pay for what you get. Very friendly and accommodating service. Given a bowl of sliced banana on the house for our little girl, when the server noticed my husband giving her a little of his banana. Change table in bathroom as an added extra with soft candles burning. Art work by local artists for purchase hanging inside cafe. Indoor and outdoor areas for dining. I will be back!!!! Yum!

Went here a couple of times whilst holidaying in Albany. The coffee is fantastic, the breakfast was lovely (and big portions) and couldn’t say no to the cakes on display. Service was quick even when busy. Would highly recommend.

Had a very simple stack of pancakes which surprised me with its amazing texture! My partner also enjoyed his breakfast croissant, filled with all the things he loves! Took away a brownie, which was also quite delicious. Staff were friendly, and the coffee was good. Sat outside, which would have been nice had there not been so many flies!

Such a pretty cafe. They have a funny habit of serving whipped cream With Croissants, escargots. Friendly, casual homey vibe

Definitely not kid friendly. The staff glared at my kids the whole time. I asked for the cookies when I ordered to give straight away to the kids. The lady rudely said she would bring them out and then didn’t bring them out until everyone else had nearly finished their drinks. Coffee was good but food was poor and way over priced for the quality.

Great food, good vegetarian options, and friendly staff. The outdoor seated area is quite nice too.
