Valley View Restaurant

My husband and i got married here in April. We would like to thank Linda and her staff for making our day unforgettable, nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was superb, so much so that my new mother in law requested to come back in May for her birthday, when again the food was perfect. The venue and gardens were picture perfect we would not have changed a thing. We would highly recommend this venue for any function. Our guests also commented how wonderful everything was. Unlike many other establishments in the Swan Valley, the Valley View restaurant offers fantastic food, great value and warm, friendly and helpful staff. It is relaxing, enjoyable and very tasty. The difference since the change of ownership a few months ago is quite simply astonishing. Highly recommend it.

Went here a month or so ago. Apparently they've changed hands in the last few months, and I have nothing but praise for the new owners/management team. Excellent service in terms of waitresses, advising dishes, gave us tasters, great chats. The swordfish is DIVINE, as was the barramundi and the carrot mash was AMAZING. Will definitely be going back, they said they are having a few events in the coming months so I will be back for sure!!

The lovely maitre`d accommodated us at the last minute. Beautiful, spacious restaurant where you don't feel like you are sitting close to your fellow diner. Food was delicious, service was attentive without being obtrusive. Drinks were cold and Helen a natural with her diners.and her colleagues were great too Highly recommend this restaurant and look for forward to returning.

The food was amazing at a great price. I had Thai beef salad (photo) and my partner had he steak with jus. The beef in my salad wasn't dry and lovely dressing and he just that accompanied my partners steak was such a nice taste. Not the most elegant place but I thoroughly recommend.

We came here for Valentine's day and it was perfect. Staff were very attentive and the food was great (which is always a bit of a worry with set menus). The view over the immaculate garden with twinkling lights was captivating.

We booked the Fawlty Towers night last Sunday for $95 each and were expecting an entertaining evening. The show was due to start at 7.00pm. When we arrived the restaurant was locked and we had to assemble in the area next door. We were advised that no drinks would be served during the two hour show and that we would have to purchase the evening's supplies from the small inadequate bar in this area. Along with forty or so other grumpy guests I waited in line for twenty minutes whilst the staff struggled to serve the waiting guests one at a time. By the time I bought my drinks the guests were being ushered into the restaurant by Basil and Sybil. The show began in an entertaining way and we began to enjoy it despite the strange soup and ordinary main course. Unfortunately after main course the actors all disappeared and we were advised that they had been called away to an emergency. No other explanation was given. Management explained that any compensation would be handled by the company putting on the show so we gave our contact details on scraps of paper ( despite the fact that we all booked so they had our details). I don't hold much hope of ever hearing from anybody but at least I now know I have found the real Fawlty Towers!

Dined at Valley View for Lunch today... What a lovely atmosphere, the gardens, the view, the service and to top it all off the food was top notch! Definitely be back again soon, to enjoy all the other delicious items on the menu. Christian

Worst management I have ever experienced, do NOT try and hold a function here, I was completely stuffed around and told it could not be held there only a few days prior the function. They did not return any calls, any emails or any text messages. When I would arrive to the place to see the manager they would advise they are not available. Absolutely lack of moral service in every way shape and form. Disgusted by everything about Valley View and I hope they get shut down!!

Amazing coffee! And even better staff!! Highly recommend!! 5 Stars
