Valentino's Family Restaurant

Brilliant spot. Unfortunately we were forgotten with our pizza orders but certainly looked after with a free drink and pizza. Love Valentinos.

Matt and his team of welcoming and organized staff made our evening relaxed and satisfying, inclusive of an almost 3yr old and 8m old. A very reasonable number of vegetarian options for our family. The vegetarian pizza and pumpkin & sun dried tomato gnocchi were cooked to perfection and full of fresh flavour. I think our eldest summed it up perfectly when walking out of the restaurant, “those people were really kind”. If you are wanting great Italian cuisine, in bubbly atmosphere that welcomes all people, young and old.. this is the place!!

Best pizzas in town methinks... Great atmosphere. Nice staff, always been a bit of my favourite family restaurant in Devonport. Good wine selection!

We've had your pizzas numerous times, and they are always delicious. Tonight we had a scotch fillet steak and the bbq ribs delivered to Latrobe, honestly could not fault a thing. It was like we were sitting in the restaurant and they had just come from the kitchen. Highly recommended 👌

So glad we were recommend to try Valentino's. Great food, great drinks and fantastic staff and service.

My husband and I were part of a party of 6 booked for 6:00 on Friday night for dinner prior to going to the theatre at 7:30 pm. We arrived about 10 minutes prior to booking. Our orders for drinks were taken immediately and then a short time about 6:05 pm our food orders. Our drinks came and the restaurant quickly filled up with diners and take away customers. A second round of drinks was ordered. One of the six food orders - pizza and chips arrived just after 7:00 pm. at which point we asked about the second round of drinks which was promptly delivered. We then asked how long the other meals would be, due to going to a show. Four more meals arrived. Spaghetti with prawns. The serving was small and lacked sauce. The two servings of Lamb Shanks were very generous. A bed of mash would have made the dish way better. A small Chicken Caeser Salad arrived minus the chicken and minimal dressing. The 6th meal didn't arrive. The waitress apologised as they were out of Pork Ribs, which was irrelevant as the order was Salt and Pepper Calamari.

We tried a few pizza places in Devonport with our family and this was definitely our favourite. Excellent vibes for us with our two kids but chilled and nice enough to accommodate those without kids. We found the vegetarian food (pizza , pasta and chips) all delicious and will definitely visit next time we return to Devonport

The staff were very average, having to continually get someone for drinks. My chicken was a little dry and my husbands parmy was burnt. Good size meals and didn't have to pay for burnt meal. Although it was very busy this could be why...but I think when you are paying good money it could have been alot better experience

Food was to die for, huge servings, a little slow to serve, but we did have a group of 20, & all meals came out together..Awesome 👍👍👍
