1 Porter St, Byron Bay
Delicious, healthy and almost entirely plat based in a great location. What's not to love? This is a definite 'will be back' venue.
Great location and range of seemingly beautiful food and lovely warm friendly service..but felt very disappointed with 18$ vagabond salad that was primarily a bowl filled with baby spinach from bag with a very little bit of Kraut and a little bit of beetroot from supermarket bag 😞
Sonja asked how my almond milk chai was and I replied the best ever ,since I converted from coffee! Lovely tunes this morning before my work at The Larder round the corner. She let me know the chai is pre- brewed making for that yummy taste!!!! World Peace by Feb 11, 2032 as a possibilty I cry asking you to #passiton ! Charlescrawshaw.com
Amazing food and a great place to hang.
Food and location is great, However the ownership leaves a lot to be desired. Horrible feedback from many hard working friends that have worked here over the last 7 months and have all left because of poor treatment. The owners Treat/Speak to their staff like slaves, no positive praise, with total disregard of the effect this has on the mental health of employees. Such a shame as the location and café is great. Stunning brownies - Although I would not spend my money here purely because of the stories of mental manipulation I have herd. To the owners - genuinely treating your staff well will result in increased productivity and a lower staff turnover for you. Ultimately a better reputation around town.
Food and coffee here was amazing. Lemon myrtle cake was delicious and the avocado toast a perfect amalgam of flavours.
Coffee and cacao were only warm, but nice taste. Seating area in the complex is nice. Good service
Food is excelent and the service could not be any better. The manager Michelle was wonderfull and lovely
Good quality cafe. Good coffee and banana bread. As with all Byron cafes there are no marshmallows with the babycinos :)
My first experience in Vagabond was nothing short of disappointing. 8 days ago I went in for the first time, and was greeted by a lady in black activewear, sweaty, very rude and was completely uninterested in her customers. I then observed her picking up dropped food from the (dirty) floor and placed it back in the food prep containers where it sounded like the smoothies get made. I assume the owner of the business? Totally un-professional. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, and returned today. I was greeted by the same lady, this time in a long white dress. She was on her phone at the counter, and then failed to take my order correctly, after 4 attempts (no interest shown). I was given the wrong coffee, I never got my cake and she failed to tell me the sandwich isn’t vegan, it has regular cows’ cheese in it!!! Not a ‘vegan, high-vibe, café'. I'm appalled at this hospitality fail.
