Fantastic gem in heart of Hobart. Recommended by our hotel manager, we were pleasantly surprised to find such a great Greek restaurant. Superb service, great tasty authentic food and decent value for money with the banquet (we had the smallest one but still so much food). We left feeling very full and wanting to come back when we next visit Hobart.

Very angry and disappointing restaurant. I went to the store to book a table on Monday night, for the birthday party on Sunday, because I saw a more private space upstairs on the official website picture, which is very suitable for my request. A female manager contacted me to determine the time, place, and number of people, and said that if we sit upstairs, we can’t order food. We have to choose the banquet menu provided on their menu. There are two choices: one is 65pp and the other is 80pp , I said yes, no problem, she told me that she would receive an e-mail after it was done. There was a link in the e-mail as a deposit. If I missed the appointment, some fees would be deducted. I said it was okay. On Tuesday, I called and added another person, provided bank information through the link, and the money was frozen. However, at noon today (Wednesday), they called to inform me that my reservation was cancelled because of their system problems and they were double-booked, saying that they could provide me with a seat downstairs. I have confirmed with the store twice, and the store canceled it when they said it was canceled. This is a poor attitude and untrustworthy business. I have sent invitations to 8 friends. I plan to have a happy birthday. The plan is completely disrupted by the store. I will tell everyone around me not to come here again, and send the store’s behavior to other social networks. . And less dissatisfied with the restaurant. Even if the food is unpalatable and the service is poor, I will not post a negative review. However, in my most important and anticipated days, the store changed my originally reserved location, behaving excessively and not keeping promises. The impression is terrible.

Being gluten free and vegan I didn't have high expectations but omg this place was INCREDIBLE!!! I had dips, main and a dessert! Multiple options to chose from which is extremely rare with dietary requirements like mine. Service was amazing too!

The staff were lovely! We were provided excellent recommendations on their specials and wine. Urban Greek were excellent are catering for my dietary needs (coeliac). My partner and I had a delicious meal and would recommend!

Tried the banquet which was preety good. The lamb was the most delicious. The service was a 10/10, very attentive/catering to allergies and well informed on the dishes. I would go back to try something new. The Greek salad was also good, simple yet flavourful.

A pretty hectic establishment. Remember to book. Staff were attentive, friendly and informative. The food arrived in a timely fashion. Good portions and tasty. A good selection of both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. They were happy to split the bill. Walked away satisfied.

Great service, amazing food will definitely come back

Our last night in Hobart, on our honeymoon trip and we walked in with no booking. The lovely hostess squeezed us in, despite being booked out for weeks and we couldn't be more grateful. Urban Greek is by far the best restaurant we've eaten at in our entire lap of Tassie. My husband and I opted for the $65 banquet and each course was amazing! The service was oustanding. All staff were warm, friendly and helpful. They are passionate about their restaurant and it shows. Thanks for a wonderful night.

A fabulous restaurant. Try the $55 banquet for a bit of everything. The food was exquisite & the service just lovely.
