Classic Italian restaurant. If you are looking for an "old-school" Lygon St meal, this is a good choice. Service is quite prompt, and the kitchen also quite fast. We had pizza, pasta and risotto and all were good. Nothing outstanding but also no disappointments!

Highly recommend this family run restaurant- it’s my favourite place in Melbourne! Located in the heart of Carlton. Always receive a warm & friendly welcome & it has consistently excellent food. Loads of meat & vegetarian options. Total flexibility if you want to change or add something. Sit inside or outside & it’s BYO wine. They have THE best pizzas on Lygon Street - the thin base melts in your mouth & the toppings are hot, very generous & full of flavour. PLUS it’s fantastic value for money. This is what hospitality should be like in every restaurant. Thank you very much & see you again soon.

Enjoyed a glass of Moscato with yummy foccacia then lasagna with some rocket and parmesan salad... it was yummy....I hadn't been for a few years .. the place has weathered a little bit inside but food remains yummy

We said we only had a short time before we were seated. I checked whether there was time to have the fish special, which was flathead tails. Not only was it served promptly, it was delicious. The other two dishes were pasta and also rated well with my family. The service was also superb - very attentive and friendly.
