We stopped for free camping overnight 31st Jan 2021. Went to use toilets and both women's and men's were locked and disabled open to our disgust. See photo...After lunch and searching other reviews we hightailed it out of there.
Was ok but very small for a service station, long line and only 1 attendance to help out.... I would try to find elsewhere... but if can t this will do...
Bought 2 mother energy drinks. Went to counter to pay. Me- Hi there GuyWorkingThere-$5.80’ Me- poster says 2 for 5. He- ‘It was till yesterday if you wanna buy it pay 5.80 or you can keep drinks back there’. Me- 😳 (shocked by his attitude ) while paying 5.80. Mate, you should change posters? He- it’s not my duty. My manager will do tomorrow. Me- I like your customer service.. Have a good night. He- said nothing.
Got fuel and a drink, and got out of the place. Many Indian and Packistan , running these places these days. Some are very rude.
Once a proud part of the transport industry's history. Slim Dusty even wrote a song about it. Now just another dirty, expensive United servo like all the rest. Staff need to smile and speak English. And learn what's on thier own menu
