With authentic artisan sourdough and outstanding handmade cakes and pastries, Turners has championed real homemade and better baking since 2013. Our sourdoughs have been described as βiconicβ, and are baked with love and over 100 years of history. Our traditional wood fired Scotch oven was built in the 1890s by the Turner brothers who delivered their bread by horse and cart as far as Heidelberg. The bakery has been lovingly restored and in honour of our inspiring founders, we bake all our breads, pies and pastries in the original living, breathing oven. Our signature authentic sourdough is made with a mother culture of natural wild yeast that is over 100 years old. This makes Turner's sourdough taste amazing and it is good for you, thanks to its long, natural fermentation. We are more than just a bakery.
