Tropicana Cafe

My husband and I wanted a light breakfast. The menu offers avocado as well as toast and a selection of breads. We asked for avocado on soursough and they wouldn't do it. They said the avocado is on the side. And expensive. Not to mention no smiling or warmth from the lady behind the counter. Will never come back. Plenty of other friendly and more accommodating cafes with better offerings in Coogee Beach.

Friendly service. Food was enjoyable. A great selection of cakes which we didn't have the stomach to try. Maybe next time.

Food was ok. Messed up our order: - they lost the ticket for one of our dishes - didn't cook the eggs properly as requested for another They could have at least offered a free drink as we suggested but they weren't forthcoming. The staff were polite

Horrible service, so rude waitress pretending to be manager. Accidently we ordered wrong food but realise that after 30 seconds and wanted to change. Waitress reaction was its impossible because they already started to cook and its not their fault I cant read the menu and next time I should read the menu properly. Never again

Was very lucky we got a table right away on a busy Sunday for brunch. Team was friendly. Food and drinks came out very fast and was very tasty. I did find the prices a bit expensive. $8 for an ice coffee that was the size of a regular coffee and the eggs Benedict was $19. For the portion size I felt it should be around $15. Over all experiance was great though

Lovely place with lovely staffs and food. The owner was a very nice guy. I definitely recommend this place.

Great food and reasonably priced, waiters are In training though. Their dirty chai is amazing!

Forgot to compliment the chef. Had the Crispy seafood salad. Calamari was excellent..so tender as was the octopus.
