25 Childe St Belonghi Beach 2481, Byron Bay
Quite a surprise. Stayed close by on a quick business trip and needed to eat. This place won me over unexpectedly. Great pizza, heaving with toppings and an awesome wood fired crust. My hectic capital city schedule precluded drinks but I could have easily sat there all night listening to music and soaking up the tiki-esque ambience, wood fires burning to take the mild chill out of the June air. It's not fair to be here on a work trip. It's just not fair. I returned the following morning for breakfast. The Granola appeared with fruit. It was impossibly perfect, see the photo. Day shots don't do it justice. At night, with all the mood lights....it like a tropical impressionist painting. If I'm in Byron again I am definitely going back. Check it out.
Busy place for a reason - excellent location, great ambience and atmosphere, super friendly (and super accommodating) staff and really good food. Had dinner there and went back for coffee in the morning, coffee had a great flavour but was way too hot for me.. if I have to wait for 10 minutes for it to cool before I can drink it, it makes me sad π Still five stars. Best advice is book ahead.
Our family of nine including 4 grandkids enjoyed the food. Pizza for kids came in Mickey Mouse cuts
Love this place, every time we come. True Byron experience Lovely setting nestled in amongst the trees. Staff are incredible, so personable, made our evening! The menu is excellent too - you have to try the handmade burrata, and the we had the salumi st christos pizza I think, A+
This was once a great place to meet and eat over the years but recently itβs standards have fallen noticeably. The last time I invited two friends for lunch and it was quiet. The meals took 1hr 20 to arrive, seriously. The time before, over an hour. I no longer patronise and would suggest you ensure youβre served with dignity and diligence. ππ½
My husband Ben and I visited from Sydney, this was the first restaurant we visited on arrival & we Absolutely loved it!! service was also great. We decided to book a few days later again, and will be booking in another few days we enjoyed it so much. We have dine in many of restaurants, even the famous No Bones & as much as that place was amazing, we still love The Treehouse better. This was the best pizza I've had in years and we are Italian, we also tried the tomato mussels, so amazing, & the sticky date pudding is to die for. Can't wait to return in a few days.
Great food in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Food came very fast and was delicious, great spot for a quick bite with the family or settle in with your frends for drinks and enjoy the music. Tables to suit small to large groups makes this a very flexible option. Definitely recommend a stroll along the beach before/after you have visited which is just across the road.
A great bar with plenty of seating - opposite Belongil beach. Pop in for a quick drink or stay a while and enjoy their fabulous margaritas. There is some seating under cover and plenty outdoors. The atmosphere is created by everyone having a great time, enjoying great company and drinks. They have a food menu and the pizza was really good. You must visit Treehouse on Belongil when in Byron.
Right accross from the beach with a very nice and shaded courtyard. The pizza was very tasty and the burgers looked good.
Style and decoration is good. Food is alright but not many choices. Staff need to be more polite and do services better.
