Great pies and awesome vanilla slice, stay warm by the open fire.

For the price it is a solid 4 star. Coffees were 3.90 (0.75 for an extra shot and worth it). The steak and mushroom pie was pretty good (4.80) but the sausage roll (3.30) was a little dry, but given the extremely cheap prices, this place is a great stop for coffee and a snack between Sydney and Canberra.

Best pies got to get in quick for the popular ones as they tend to run out by midday shows how great they are! Bread also nice. Need to try the pastries and desserts next time.

A convenient stop off place is you get off the freeway to go into Goulburn. If heading south you go right through the main shopping centre and then go quite a distance to reach the Big Merino and the Trappers Bakery is easy to spot. We ordered chunky pepper pies and coffees. The pies were predominately gravy with a few chunks - five in mine, three in my wife's. The coffees were good and the prices are quite reasonable. The service was fast and friendly. You do however, have to clean and disinfect your own table with the supplied necessities.

What a legendary bakery. The wide variety of options allows you to go any time. Whether it's breakfast, dinner or just a snack. Prices are also really reasonable. Its a whole vibe inside, with history on the walls and Bush Tucker everywhere. Would definitely recommend for anyone in the area

It’s good. Selection of pies and cakes is ok. Not the best bakery on the planet but nice enough.

Leave two stars for the venue, not for the pies ! Pastry is really average - not so crispy , filling full of thickener and salt, I’ve had way better pies in plenty of other places. Doesn’t taste like homemade pie made from scratch at all... but cool spot !

The infamous trappers at Goulburn, don't miss this whenever you pass this area. Their vanilla slice is very famous. I like their Tuna Mornay. Their beef pies is a bit salty in my opinion, however different people have different kind of taste. Try their vanilla slice, it's the best. Their donut is great too.

Great pies and sausage rolls. Haven't tried their other things but looks good. Nice inside. Fast and friendly service. Worth a visit. Reasonable prices.
