Big selection of chicken, lamb and goat meats curry. Tried 2 goats and 2 chicken curries. Unique flavours and very tasty. Would be nice to have some offers of vegetable dishes, to balance out the meal. Will have to come back to try out the rest of the other curries.
I went for lunch whilst at work, got the korma lamb which was to die for. So many curries to choose from. I donβt usually like rice too much but the rice that came with the curry was very tasty. My friend got a garlic naan and loved it. Definitely coming back.
I've heard a few recommendations for this place but have never been, so the next best thing when I needed lunch while working from home was a delivery from there via Doordash, using up the last of my sign up credits on top of a promotional discount on at the time. My order (amounts quoted are a slight premium over dine-in prices): * biryani thali, $19 - with choice of biryani (chicken) and two curries (Indian butter chicken + chilli fish), served with raita * garlic naan, $4 * tandoori roti, $3.50 The biryani thali is a meal and a half, or you could probably stretch it to two meals - I certainly didn't finish it in one sitting. The chicken biryani was great - fragrant and rather moreish, with a few pieces of bone-in chicken hiding under that mound of rice. The Indian butter chicken is a hot curry, different to the (more common?) mild butter chicken. The chilli fish was quite spicy but went well with the biryani. Probably could have done without the breads though - the naan was pretty flat and at first I thought they gave me two of the same bread, but at least it had the characteristic taste and I preferred it to the roti. The meal was served in a biopak container which had leaked a bit by the time it got to me. Not sure these lids are the best solution for liquidy stuff like curries. I'll aim to dine in next time.
Big selection of curries on display. With a more casual "take-out" atmosphere. I liked the curries but it will be too salty for some people's tastes.
Absolutely monster value. Impressive range - about 20 curries to choose from (not even including their sister shop next door which is full vego)! My stomach is so full and we had leftovers enough for lunch tomorrow. Great customer service too.
Very very nice food. Super quality and very reasonable price. The owner and staff very polite and looking after all customers very well. Will sure come back.
Best Indian I've had in months definitely one of the best in Brisbane. My Indian housemate took me there and we had 6 different curry between the 3 of us. This rating is only off of flavour and value. Not the restaurant and service. Overall the service could be more professional and the restaurant is not the cleanest. I could see dust all over the counters which had obviously not been cleaned in ages.
I've had great meals which were very rich and tasteful. Last 2 πbig disappointment. Butter chichen had no flavour but colour. Adding too much water into the sauce makes the food nothing but tasteless...wouldn't go there any more.
While this place is fundamental, its food is outstanding and the staff helpful, friendly and courteous. Iβve been to some places where the decor is something special but the food and staff are quite the opposite. This place serves food that keeps my family, friends and I going back.
Good food at fair prices. Friendly staff and always helpful.
