It sure is great seeing The Vale open again with patrons out under the umbrellas and enjoying being out of COVID lockdown. I can recommend the calorie free wedges with a couple of glasses of Prosecco and a bourbon to finish off. Get out on summer’s day or evening and enjoy a beverage or three here.

Unfortunately they used to make really good pizzas but upon my recent visit they are these giant rectangular pizzas which taste more like a frozen pizza defrosted from Coles. The dough is awful and I would not recommend. The gnocchi is fabulous and so are their cocktails but that pizza maker needs to be stopped! The Italians would be outraged!

Great atmosphere. Great food. Great selection of wines and drinks. Great hosts. Get busy on a Friday evening which adds to the atmosphere.

Excellent wine bar with a quality list and underrated food.. love the communal high tables which are both a great feature astethically and encourage mingling.. Update.. now they've expanded their beer list as well.. so many tasty craft beers!

This place is great for a romantic date night, or just afternoon drinks with friends. Love the drinks selection, lots of interesting cocktails and wine choices. They make the charcuterie in house so it's pretty special. The portions are a little bit small, especially for the price. We really enjoyed everything we ordered though and would recommend.

I attended a function last Saturday with family and friends, my third visit to The Vale. Each time I have been impressed by the high standard of food, drinks and the excellent service. It is great to have such a beautiful venue in Union Road run with so much passion. Highly recommended
