My husband and I had the best experience at Salopian Inn for dinner last Friday night. It came highly recommended by some friends and we now highly recommend!
We had a lovely private table near a candle lit window with beautiful green vines cascading the window outside.
Our waitress was excellent. We asked for a bit of guidance on what to order (we always like to ask the opinions of a waiter or waitress and itβs so great when they are willing to help)
We had the wild caught prawn dumplings, free range pork steamed buns, and confit and roasted chicken for entree/mains. The flavours were amazing and ingredients so fresh.
For dessert we had the coconut creme/dark chocolate sorbet and the Salopian ice cream sandwich.
My husband had a Salopian Gin Summer with grapefruit zest and I had the virgin amaretto sour.
The details in everything were delightful, everything was done so well and we had an amazing dining experience. Our service was great. We cannot fault a single thing and in fact it was one of the best meals we have had in years.
I will think about that ice cream sandwich for years to come π
