The Mez Club

Amazing tapas with excellent service. We are huge foodies from Adelaide and the experience was phenomenal! The food was great, especially the lamb shoulder - cooked to perfection - meat was melt in mouth that explodes with deliciousness with every bite. The other highlight is the burrata dish that took the cheese to another level with the accompanying ingredients. We were served by Fiona whose service was impeccable. Overall it was an amazing experience! Would recommend to anyone who is visiting Byron Bay.

We came the first time last year and the experience was just as good. The menu is great, typical Mezze style. All the dishes were on point, very well cooked and presented. The Lamb was outstanding. Good cocktails too. The only things that could be improved is - the order/timing of the dishes delivered. We had our cocktails at the same time so it felt a bit rushed. - the music which was way too loud. It was as inconvenient as last year. There are speakers everywhere and they are blasting. In their defense we didn't say anything but if the waitress struggles to hear us ordering than maybe it's just not us. We'll be back for sure.

One of the best restaurants in Byron. Place is cosy and warm in winter nights. Highly recommend the Artichoke dip, a delicacy from heaven. Other food are delicious as well. Great range of drink selection. Service is great. Booking recommended. Enjoy

Had an amazing anniversary dinner at Mez Club last night. The food was exceptional, couldn’t fault it. The service was the best we’ve had anywhere for a very long time, Fiona the Argentinian server made our night an absolute pleasure. She looked after us from the minute we sat down until we left, giving us great recommendations for food and drinks along the way. We’ll be back again purely based of our experience there last night, thank you Fiona!

We stumbled across this little gem last minute and so glad we did!! It’s been the food highlight of our Byron trip!! Service was attentive and super friendly! Decor and ambience was vibing. The cocktails are a must! Food was well portioned and every element delicious!! We ordered six dishes and a dessert each, which was a perfect amount.

Really nice food, good service and easy place to spend a couple hours. Share plates with plenty of variety for any taste. Recommend to try it if in Byron

Love the décor but the food was so average. One of those places good for a group of people focusing on booze and not the taste of food. The highlight was the nachos, oh and the waitress of our table was friendly and helpful.

This was my second visit to Mez and it was just as good as the first! Sitting upstairs was great people watching and the food was delicious. Ordered 4 dishes and 2 cocktails and we were extremely satisfied. The halloumi is my absolute favourite, but this time the arancini, potatoes and lamb outshone it. Turkish dream cocktail wasn’t too sweet. Great music playing so ambiance was high. We will definitely be back!
