Unexpectedly good pub food!

We were visiting from Sydney on a work trip and stopped by this cool pub, we had some breadsticks with a trio of dips along side a dozen fresh oysters. It was a great vibe with friendly staff, the beer was cold and sitting outside on a beautiful day made the experience that much better. Definitely worth a stop if ever in the area.

Enjoyed my steak, was a little on the rare side for a medium but good quality. Would have been nice to have a little more fresh veg to cut through the heavy red meat. Service was very good, staff friendly. Toilets could do with a good scrub. Red wine by the glass very expensive at $14 per glass

4 of us had dinner in the restaurant tonight. The food was excellent, with a good variety of meals, good portion sizes, and all well presented. A great selection of gins and wines was available, too. Chris, our waiter was exceptional. He was friendly, engaging, polite & very professional. The ambience of the restaurant is first class. We will definitely return.

Great pub and even better now with great decor and sophisticated atmosphere.
