The Lillipad Cafe Sydney

The Lillipad Cafe is a hidden gem amidst a plethora of brunch places on Glebe Pt Road. What I loved most is that it was homey and not aesthetic driven like most brunch spots in Sydney. The prices are so reasonable and the portions were generous. The coffee was spot on and the staff were down to earth. The cafe itself is charming and unique. One of the best brunch experiences I’ve had in awhile. I can’t believe I missed out on this place for so long. Don’t be like me.

My Favourite local !! Love the coffee, awesome owners and all the staff are super friendly. Awesome food . Dog 🐕 friendly too which is a must for me! Great menu, generous size portions, a courtyard to chill out in, and great value. My favourite place in Glebe for coffee and food.

Amazing. Since moving into Glebe 10 months ago, I've been systematically working my way through the available eateries. While there remain several I've not gotten to, I'm really not sure my quest needs to continue. This place is the business. The food is of exceptional quality, the servings are frankly intimidatingly generous, and the prices are those I would ordinarily associate with a much less eating experience. 11/10, most definitely will eat again.

Best cafe in Sydney. Beyond amazing staff, good food for all dietary requirements, I cannot review this any higher as you need to go to experience this. Have been here many many times and never had anything less than an incredible experience. Their vegan milkshake is one of the major motivating factors in my life & I dream about it regularly.

There are so many things I enjoy about Lillipad but in particular 1) Indigenous owned <3 2) Inclusive space and menu 3) Seriously delicious, good value food. You always leave feeling full! 4) Super friendly staff and atmosphere Has quickly become one of my places for good Vegan food!

Consistently delicious food. Excellent value for money. The vegan eggs benedict is AMAZING - the first time I had it I did a double take because the vegan "poached eggs" were so legit. Took my parents (incl. fussy mum) and fiance (not usually a fan of breakfast food) here on two separate occasions and both times everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal.

A rare find. A cafe with decent portions and fair prices. The Aunty Suella comes with generous portions of bacon, heart-shaped hash browns, two slices of sourdough, eggs (you can choose poached, fried or scrambled) and undressed salad. Very delicious, filled me up very well. The Pollo burger was a little hard to eat and there was a lot of sawing action with the knives to cut the bread, but the ginger horseradish sauce was a personal touch, loved it. The grilled chicken was perfect not too dry and still very flavorful. The GunTree Tumeric Chai was a new experience. It left a powdery aftertaste in my mouth, tasted a little peppery and had some fennel taste as well but it was nice to try something new. The atmosphere was a little noisy as it is by a roadside but conversations were still able to be had and the food and customer service was excellent so I will definitely be back to try their other dishes. Highly recommend this spot!

We came here for lunch today and sat in the back courtyard. We ordered the French toast, Temptress and Huevos rancheros with some juices and an iced chai. Service was lovely, they had many vegan options and the serving sizes are massive. The Temptress had crispy tempeh which I hadn't tried before. It was such an amazingly vibrant dish with fresh flavours and a spicy satay sauce on toasted Turkish bread. Great meal.

Yummy food and great service! I’ve been coming to Lillipad since they opened and have never been disappointed. Their menu is versatile and their staff is accommodating, even to my fussy kids. We always leave with very very very happy tummies!
