Great coffee

Great local suburban cafe serving all day breakfast. Coffees were excellent, baked eggs packed flavour but a tad small in size. The eggs benedict was amazing. Place has a great vibe, the decor borders on industrial and the open kitchen adds theatre. Wait staff were friendly, courteous and prompt. Highly recommended.

I really liked the atmosphere. I ordered the french toast with poached pears and walnuts. It was very pretty, but way too sweet for me. I enjoy the savoury taste of french toast (it was a bun) but it was swamped in sweet syrup.

I had to make a new review! We usually come here to buy their delicious bread, specially the pumpkin one. We also have tried their coffee and it's really good. One thing I was missing was vegan options in their menu, but now they have a vegan menu and the options are very nice. We tried the vegan shrooms and the vegan mushroom burger and we were not disappointed. Will definitely come back to try the other options and as always buy more bread.

Very positive, energetic vibes from the heart of Watson. I treated my family to lunch and enjoyed the outdoor setting. Plenty of space and plenty to see in this wonderful corner cafe. The service was great and the menu had so many delicious items, that it was hard to choose. Definitely would go back again.

My son and I had a delicious breakfast at this cafe on Easter Sunday. Being one of the very few cafes open that day, it was really busy (although maybe it’s always that way), but they managed the queue system very efficiently. Both my son and I really enjoyed our food and drinks. They also have a bakery, and the goods were flying off the shelves. Judging by their popularity, I can’t but assume that they’re awesome, too. I’d love to go again next time we’re in Canberra.

Your go to round the corner cafe. Plenty of seating space with indoor and outdoor tables. They’ve got all day menus and have an good Turnaround with service. Staff could be better with service and friendliness.

I thought the food/coffee overpriced, but the service friendly (for the most part). What I find disappointing was the nature of our departure. My friends and I arrived at 8.00am for breakfast and took a table reserved for 9.30am understanding we would need to vacate shortly before that time. What we did not expect was at 9.05am to be approached by a staff member advising the next party had arrived 25 minutes early and we needed to leave. I've arrived at cafes/restaurants 5-10 minutes early and have expected to wait for my table to be ready. I consider that to be normal. I can't comprehend the type of person that turns up 25 minutes early expecting their table to be ready and if not, for the staff to move on the current occupants (one with a newborn baby strapped to her chest). Given we would have left of our on accord by 9.20 knowing the table had been booked, this left a sour taste in my mouth. I've been here a number of times, but I think this will be the last.

Interesting menu. Recording on phone says no reservations if only two people but several tables around us were reserved for two. We had a limited time frame, shame.

Love this little local cafe! Great coffee, decent food, and the atmosphere and staff is good too. Can get very busy! I love the industrial decor inside and the outside tables are very inviting. This is my go-to place in the 'hood.
