The Haus Restaurant

It gets busy around 12-1. We got in early at around 11.30. the wurst are the best. Lol. At the time we were there, there was a group tour hovering around our table since we sat beside Han's painting but still respectful of our space. Be prepared for heavy meals.

Overall selection of food is really good. Everyone on our table enjoyed their food. I had the ribs and wings which was good (not best I've ever had ) but a good size feed and still tasty. Selection of drinks is good too

Great place to get a good filling. Service is very good and food tasty. Side of chips are perfection.

Ordered the sausages plus pretzel on the side. Portion is reasonable. Could have done it without the pretzel. Sausages were delicious. I prefer the cheese kransky out of the 2. Good selection of craft beer on tap.

Excellent and Prompt service, it was quick and really enjoyed our meal! Consistent with taste.

Wow, what a meal! We enjoyed the platter with pork, chicken snitzel, sausages and sides. What an experience! A beautiful cosy atmosphere with great German beers too.

Only if there is 3.5 star rating. Visited couple days ago for supper. The food is quiet nice but slightly over my budget. Acceptable. The sausage and the pork are really well cooked. Love the pickles and mashed potato. The atmosphere is nice. BUT the flys, OMG. Is there anyway we can deal with those? Really disturbing and kind of disgusting.

Warm and atmospheric. Loved the seafood pie with the best big bowl of creamy mashed potatoes. Lamb shank was good too. Service great.

Really good food and the best service I have received at a restaurant in many years if not ever. Well worth the trip.

'The' place to eat in Hahndorf. Been here a couple of times and it has always been for the chicken schnitzel. Succulent chicken perfectly cooked to the crisp brown colour. The creamy mushroom sauce's aroma tells you that you will have a fantastic experience even before you start eating. Friendly staff and the warm ambience makes you feel at home.
