The Haus

Food was delicious. Mains and dessert 10 out of 10. We were served by a few different staff members and all were very friendly. Inside was decorated nicely and kept cozy and warm with gas fire going. Would definitely recommend. Menu contains German and non German options to keep everyone happy.

Great staff and a warm and inviting atmosphere. Great range of whiskey and food is amazing. Must try is the Gluehwein by the open fire. Try and stay away from the dessert cabinet… I dare you! So good…

Way overpriced. I ordered a bbq meatlovers pizza that came drenched in sauce after i specifically asked for very little and there was so much onion on it you couldnt taste the meat. The pools of sauce turned the undercooked base to slop too. But the mars bar cheesecake will be the saving grace, right? Nope. A glorified chocolate mousse that didnt even hold its shape in the fridge. I guess for the price i was expecting an actual slice of baked cheesecake. Disapointing all round, and this is written the day after because i didnt wanna spew my Karen-esque review when i was feeling most ripped off. My gf and I are still keen to try the in-resturant dining experience at Haus so at least i know what to avoid.

Great place to get a good filling. Service is very good and food tasty. Side of chips are perfection.

Really good food and the best service I have received at a restaurant in many years if not ever. Well worth the trip.

We went there for lunch today, and was seated at the most boring, cold and bad corner! OK we did not book, but there were other seats available in the main room ( rather than the side wing at the very corner)! Food was ordinary to say the least, my salt and pepper squids were very dry and the Thai salad on the side was very sweet; not citrusy enough and lacked of herbs and core spice like fish sauce . Very disappointed looking at how grand place looks!

Great food and quick service considering the venue was absolutely packed. Hugeee menu with options for everyone. Pricing is steep but standard for Hahndorf.

Awesome German food, fantastic meat boards & reasonably priced considering the quality. Was there for a birthday function and staff went above and beyond. Breakfasts were just 'ok' - (menu could do with a refresh) cheap packet hashbrowns etc feel out of place when everything else is done so well, and no 'big breakfast' or fresher vegan grille options? Thst said, had eggs Florentine, were cooked perfect and overall decent.
