The Grounds of Alexandria

The Grounds are a fab place to visit with family or friends. Great coffee. Yummy food. Friendly staff. Very visit is an awesome experience for child and adult to be immersed in the magic and wonder… Would highly recommend to all. The only issue is finding a park at times, cos of the busyness and popularity of spending time here.

Beautiful place to visit and find at. I love the changing themes and all the plants in the potting shed. The food is high quality and the staff are friendly. The menu changes slightly with the themes too! The florist has so many pretty flowers at reasonable prices. One of my favourite places to go.

Beautiful garden with a combination of REAL and FAKE flowers! Their service crew are also friendly and with a nice service. Thank you for making a place where we could enjoy both food and great ambience. 😄

Super cool- constantly changing setups so you never get bored. A sweet little organic oasis in the midst of the smelly city. Heaps of different options for lunch or morning tea or whatever. They do events such as weddings and stuff as well. Would recommend. The food we got was delicious.

Easy online booking system. My friends and our kids are happy with the food and this beautiful place. We will definitely revisit.

Such a great place, and always good over many years. A combination of consistency and innovation - hey that’s the secret for ongoing business success! Whether it’s a meal with friends or a quick coffee (like today), the quality is excellent, and service is friendly and efficient. The Grounds really is a world class attraction, so no surprise people come here from the airport (judging by the suitcases)... 👍🏼🙏🏼❤️😎

Went for dinner and I didn't realise how wonderfully set up the place was! Was really impressed by the decor , being surrounded by such a lovely array of plants with adequate heating as well for a winter's night. We were welcomed by the wheelbarrow fireplace and marshmallows at the front, and was quickly served by the friendly staff. Food was also delicious and most enjoyable! we had the steaks and eggplant pasta. Good stuff!

I love The Grounds coffee! You can purchase this coffee from many cafes now, but it's always best to get a cup (or two) from the original spot. It's such a lively place, and you're lucky to get a table during the brunch period over the weekend. However, I don't mind ordering a takeaway coffee and exploring the grounds themselves. There's always something beautiful to look at and exciting to do.

Attended a function there today and must admit really enjoyed it. The food we received was very good and I must say the staff really looked after us. Very impressed with the way the old building has been converted.

Service was very good even though it was busy. Staff are friendly, helpful and polite. The setting and atmosphere are great always. On a wet and wintery day my lunch here lifted my spirits and filled my tummy - what more can you want?
