The Great North Cafe

A wonderful cafe providing remarkably delicious Indonesian food. Located in the perfect spot to service hikers on the Great North Walk, motorcyclists and cyclists enjoying the bends and hills of the old Pacific Highway and those heading down to the water i would recommend this establishment to all. If you do get a chance to eat here i hope you order the delicious Indonesian food, though they do make wonderful western style meals their homemade Indonesian food is without question the highlight. They offer generous portion size and seem to have a genuine passion for your enjoyment and happiness. This cafe is a diamond in the ruff in an area which usually has lacklustre food offerings.

What a wonderful little gem of a place! Great coffee and beautiful backyard area to enjoy some peaceful bliss. Highly highly recommend this Cafe! Service was extremely friendly too.

He saved our legs when travelling the Great North Walk. Great advice for hikers, great food and service. 10/10 would go there again. He kept the store open for extra time as we came back from our walk for the day and served us great fast food. Also gave us the idea of camping at a local park when we were about to hike. Take advice from him

This place had good ratings but the experience was extremely dissapointing. Received table water and coffee after receiving lunch, everything is out of synch, and hair found in the food, refer to insta mc_munchin for real ratings

Quirky little place. Oddball mix of hikers, cyclists and motor bike riders seem to make up the customers. Good spot to fuel up before tackling the Great North Walk

It's a nice little spot but the service was pretty lackluster and workers weren't very professional. Went on a fairly busy day and in the time we waited for our takeaway food there were 4 different customers that were complaining. Food was pretty poor - got a wrap that felt empty and someone had stale bread on their sandwich. Loved the spices with the chicken though. Didn't dare order coffee as refunds were being issued for coffee orders taking too long (no employee was near the coffee machine the whole time we were there). Looks like I just caught them at a bad day.
