The Gingerbread House Katoomba

Don't make the same mistake we did by going to this place when there are a hundred other better cafes you could go to in Katoomba or Leura with decent food and service. 40 min wait for a few jaffles and bowls of soup that couldn't have involved more that a few minutes preparation. Ok it was a busy weekend but surely that couldn't have been a surprise! Food dumped on the table. Had to pay at point of ordering so we couldn't even leave after waiting for such a long time and go and find food elsewhere. Such a shame that a lovely old church has been massacred by this kitsch, low quality Xmas display excuse for a cafe. It could be amazing in someone else's hands.

Awesome place to have a meal and cuppa and enjoy the unique atmosphere and decor. Lots if beautiful items to purchase.

The milkshakes were incredibly good, if I could go there again, I would.

Walked by this cafe and was attracted by the gingerbread man at the front door :) great place to enjoy a hot drink and waffle under the cold weather!

Worst cafe ever I have experience! Waiting for 40minute for our coffee ! Bacon and eggs come first about 10minute!and that it waiting for another half an hour for a drink to come !what a shocker!

Very cute little cafe and shop run out of a renovated chapel. Food isn't amazing but it's well made up for with the fairy tale themed meals!

Lovely place offering very nice coffee in warm atmosphere. If you like all things ginger this is where you should go. By the way, when there if you fill like having a light snack, try their pretzels, you will be pleasantly surprised.
