The Gingerbread House Katoomba

This is a great little spot to bring those with a sweet tooth. Even if sweets aren't your thing, this is still somewhere I recommend for coffee or a bite to eat. Prices are reasonable for a touristy spot. My favourite is a gingerbread milkshake. Didn't think I'd enjoy it, but it was delicious and the kids loved the few sips I reluctantly gave them. Food was very tasty and best of all there's a good number of tables and chairs both inside and out. There's also a small play area for the kids. I think it could do with a bit of an update, but it'll do nonetheless.

Beautiful desserts and biscuits. Such a good place to take your little kids- they can play in the fenced-off play area in the courtyard while the adults eat. You can see your kids the whole time but they can have some freedom from sitting at the table.

We love going here. Great for kids, lovely outdoor area. Having been here a number of times I've decided they are overpriced for food sadly. $10 for kids nuggets, and it was only nuggets! Extra $10 for some chips to share. You really pay for the place, rather than the quality of the food. It's perfectly acceptable, but expensive for what it is. That said, we'll be back! It's just too nice for the kids, giving us time to chat on peace.

Very cute little place, coffee is very nice and was less then 5 mins between ordering and it arriving. Food tasted really good as well. Evil queens delight is a must try

Enjoyed our visit over the long weekend. The food was really nice and the kids were impressed with the outdoor play equipment.

A winner with the kids. A unique bread cafe inside a restored church - friendly and attentive service, christmas displays, lolly shop, outdoor play area and the food and drinks were good value. A good range for everybody in the family on the menu with little unique delights such as a gingerbread milkshake.

The best thing about this place is that the staff are extremely nice and lovely. The food and desserts taste great but the portions are too small for the price. They sell a great collection of desserts and tea/coffee cups. Their coffee is great too.

Beautiful place, lovely people. Hot chocolate was good. A bit overpriced but seems normal in Katoomba.
