GREAT SERVICE, GREAT LOCATION, GREAT STREET VIBE The Fitz has been around for many years and has managed to retain that friendly, casual feel despite the rapid changes the suburb has been undergoing. Sit outside if you can and watch Fitzroy go by as you dine! Good food and coffee at reasonable prices. Breakfast menu available until mid afternoon and a rooftop bar for a more leisurely drink. People with mobility issues will be fine in the al fresco area but would find the stairs up to the rooftop bar difficult.

Food is good! Burger was actually really delicious despite being quite messy but i’m really not going to complain about that because that’s the whole point of burgers ;) The standout about this burger was the flavour of the patty - very, very nice, juicy, and tasty. I know not everyone is a fan of a charcoal bun but this wasn’t an issue for me. Service was friendly. They also have an upstairs area/rooftop which looked lovely and they do trivia there too!

I’d visited The Fitz a while back for their boozy brunch sessions but today we called in for a quiet seat at their rooftop bar during cocktail o clock. I enjoyed a lofty view and a port star margarita while Kellie enjoyed an Aperol Spitz. Laid back and easy

I went last night with my cousin for a redo hens, the staff found out her first one was awful and they went above and beyond to make her have a good night. I can not give the staff any more praise. Monica, Erin, Anna, Alfred, Nick, as well as the security guard Jamie thank you so much for everything you did for us. Your kindness and willingness to make sure we had a good night was beyond amazing.

Came here around 3-4pm for an awkward first meal of the day, and to my delight they were still serving brunch food! Had these Tassie salmon, avocado & beetroot rosti which was simple and extremely satisfying. Excellently roasted coffee too.

Such a good vibe. I love it here. The bar staff are attentive and hilarious, and the food is immaculate. After being shut up in my house for months this place brought me back out into life and I will be back 100%
