The Clove Indian Restaurant

Very good Indian food around the eastern suburb. I really enjoyed the naan and the curries. Must visit place and I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Make no mistake, this is not a place to go and enjoy a meal. It’s a takeaway joint with some tables in the front pretending to be a restaurant. The owner will argue with you when you order, when you’re eating and when you’re paying but like he said and I quote “I’ve got 100 take aways tonight, I don’t need to deal with people eating here”. If you’re after a takeaway there’s so much better locally and if you want to eat there, you’ll need 3 hours and will enjoy a dark room with poor service full of delivery drivers leaving the door open.

Very friendly staff and nice food. I love garlic naan best. Dessert is delicious, especially mango kulfi.

The staff didn't make any effort to treat us well, very rude and always complaining. Food took too long to come and wasn't special at all. There are many other better places to go. Definitely, not coming back.

Manager and staff were too busy dealing with home delivery orders to pay any attention to us, so we waited over an hour for our meals. Won’t be returning, even though food is of a high quality, ambience is pleasant and toilets are clean and well stocked.

Nice food however service was terribly slow. Two courses took just just under 2 hours. We left before desert was even served. When I mentioned this they still proceeded to charge me $2.50 corkage. Would not recommend!

Fabulous food. I've eaten here, but it was a while ago. Not the cheapest, but definitely the best Indian food in the area.

Super slow service, we left early. Staff are also pretty defensive and not overly accommodating. Such a shame.

I got takeaway from this place and honestly the best Indian food in the eastern suburbs. The Food is amazing. We will definitely be back!

Great food. Very generous. Bought using the Groupon and was a fantastic experience. Service was great and food was beautiful. Goat renzilla, saag paneer, Rogan Josh and Goan fish curry. All amazing. Thank you
