Neat place. Nice peeps and good food.

Great service, loved the happy hour options (fyi - 4:30 to 6pm) Shared plates were good, and drinks were all on point. All up, a lovely spot for a happy hour stop. Update: We came back for a full dinner and couldn't fault the mains. Highly recommended.

Fabulous cocktails and friendly staff. Really pleased to discover this place by accident last night. Dave and I loved it. We are planning to go back without the car 1 night soon.

Love everything about The Charleston! Relaxed atmosphere. The food is so delicious. The cocktails are to die for & the service is so friendly & attentive, our waitress was amazing. We had such a fun night & will definitely be returning soon. PS. Try the Cotton Candy cocktail, you won't regret it!

The Charleston hosted my 25th birthday dinner! It is a fabulous venue and the staff were excellent. I had such great feedback from all the guests who attended. The food was very tasty and the bottomless sangria and rose option worked perfectly (particularly with groups of people). Would 100% recommend! this place will not disappoint. Thanks again team !

We came in Sunday evening with no booking and the server seated us happily. He took us through the different options on the menu and suggested some very nice cocktails. Lovely staff and great drinks. Will be back again.

Great cocktails... Ok food ( too much fried stuff)... Drinks a bit on the pricey side! Excellent and very knowledgeable staff!

Was here for a lovely set dinner which was share plates along the table but because I was vegetarian I got separate meals. For entree they gave me a bowl of cauliflower 'wings' (way too much for me to eat on my own) and then for main I got HALF a cauliflower on a plate with balsamic drizzled on it. So in total all I got was an ENTIRE cauliflower. Now any vegetarian or any person really should no that this is ridiculous, no one wants to eat an entire cauliflower when they go out for a nice dinner. Was there no coordination between chefs?? What happened here!? C'mon guys be imaginative, there are a tonne of replacements for meat - sorry but cauliflower is not the solution to all your problems. However, the cute little pumpkin things (supposedly meant for the meat-eaters) were delicious!!

According to its website, the Charleston is all about bringing people together in a cosy South Carolina inspired restaurant, we were therefore expecting a mom and pops restaurant, but the vibe was more one of a nightclub, loud music and dim lights. They also offer an extensive cocktails/drinks list (three pages vs one page of food items), which we didn't try because we mainly came for dinner. Service was nice and helpful with explaining the menu, circling back to the comment I made RE-the nightclub vibe, the poor waitress had to shout to be heard as the music was very loud and she had a mask on. I found the the menu choice to be limited and food is thought for sharing, each item on the menu came alone so you'll need to share at least a couple of dishes each. It was all good, but nothing memorable. The only memorable thing was the bill, as the price was definitely too steep for what we ate. They should also change their website as they still advertise the 5 dollar taco deal, which has now been discontinued.
