The oldest hotel in Port Adelaide looks pretty well fitted and kitted out. Very friendly staff. It’s seems to be popular for group and family events. Business functions would be well suited here also. It’s Kinda spooky down in the cellar. Well worth a look!

A big loyal supporter of the British Hotel Port Adelaide ! Great service, fantastic reasonable prices, great steaks, salt pepper squid, and oysters on Friday’s! Great range of wine and reasonably priced! It is my favourite food place, always fresh and great professional service! When I come to town! A must put this one on your list !!next to the bridge and easy parking at port Adelaide ! We had a steak chips salad $17.90 fantastic ! Well done !

Great atmosphere and friendly service is the only reason for the 4 start rating as the seafood platter was not so impressive for the price. With nearly everything battered it was a bit much, perhaps a grilled option would be good as the fish was tasty but with the crab and calamari also battered it was a bit much. We didn't care much for the crab which we were very keen on trying. The oysters and octopus were lovely though and the portion size was good, we had some to take home. I wouldn't order it again as it was very pricey but I am sure they do great food, the seafood platter just wasn't for us.

The staff were friendly and the service was very quick. The chicken schnitzel was delicious - not dry or chewy. The British gravy was a nice choice and the side of salad was very fresh; nice crispy lettuce. Chips were great too! All in all, I can't find any faults and would be happy to have lunch there again.

Myself and a LOT of others from a wedding (we had a 1.5 hour break between ceremony and reception) bombarded this pub. Juliette and her co-worker were absolutely incredible at taking care of a very unexpected influx of hot and thirsty people. I’ll be back for sure. Such incredible customer service.

Good pint of Guinness and bar lady was really nice. Some parts of the bar are modern but still has an older feeling to it which I liked. Didn't eat as had different plans but menu looked good and reasonable.
